Information for Exhibitors
Exhibition Details
The exhibition will take place at Be Sweet Café & Bakeshop, located at 150 West Main Street, Ste. C, Grand Junction, CO 81501. The display duration is between 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement. In such a case, the artist will be notified in advance. At the end of the exhibition, the artist is responsible for removing all artwork from the premises within three days unless otherwise arranged.
Artwork Submission
The artist agrees to provide 3-5 pieces for the exhibition. Each piece must be ready for display with appropriate hanging hardware and must be signed. Titles, dimensions, and pricing will be provided by the artist. Café staff will handle the installation of the artwork.
Sales & Commission
All exhibited pieces will be available for sale unless specified otherwise. The Café will retain a 20% commission on any work sold during the exhibition or resulting from it within 30 days of its conclusion. Sales will be processed by the Café, and payment to the artist—minus commission and any applicable fees—will be issued within 30 days of the sale.
Promotion & Signage
The Café may promote the exhibition through social media, email, in-store displays, and its website. The artist is encouraged to share promotional materials and must provide a short bio, headshot, and images of the artwork. The Café will supply wall labels and may approve those provided by the artist. Additional promotional materials such as brochures or contact info may be displayed at the venue.
Liability & Terms
While the Café will take reasonable care with all artwork, it is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage. Artists are encouraged to maintain their own insurance. Either party may terminate the agreement with seven days’ written notice, and artwork must be promptly removed upon early termination or conclusion of the show. The artist agrees to indemnify the Café, its owners, and employees from any liability related to the exhibition.
